       The Kalam UV Foundation traces its roots back to October 30th, 2009, when Yuvaraj Loganathan, an individual deeply committed to his nation and its youth, founded the organization. With a background in Engineering and a Master’s degree in IT, Yuvaraj set out on this noble journey with a vision to uplift the underprivileged and provide them with opportunities for growth and development.

       Yuvaraj’s encounter with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on that same date in 2009 marked a turning point in his life. Dr. Kalam’s words resonated deeply with Yuvaraj, igniting a fire within him to contribute meaningfully to society. As a former national-level sportsman who had faced personal challenges due to injuries during his college years, Yuvaraj understood the importance of perseverance and resilience. Despite setbacks, he channeled his determination into pursuing a career in sports.

Inspired by Dr. Kalam’s passionate advocacy for environmental conservation, particularly through his speeches on the critical role of trees in combating global warming, Yuvaraj felt compelled to take action. This inspiration fueled the establishment of the Kalam UV Foundation, with its foundation day forever commemorated on October 30th, 2009.

 At the core of Yuvaraj’s mission is a commitment to supporting government school students in both education and sports. His vision is to provide these students, often from marginalized backgrounds, with the necessary resources, guidance, and encouragement to excel academically and athletically.
